This is a trilogy set in the Terenne Empire, where a malevolent mage is seeking to overthrow the established order. Combating him are four Adepts and their apprentice, who with swords and wands seek out his followers to thwart their plots. They are aided in this by a secret society known as the Order of Knights Defensor.
The Terenne Chronicles: Marganard and Summerstrand
In the five fiefdoms of the Terenne Empire, magic is governed and practiced in different ways. Along its roads rides Sir Adur Marganard and his four freebooting companions fighting malign forces wherever they find them. With sword and wand, spells and insight, they outfight or outwit all who seek to overthrow the established order. In the fiefdom of Marganard, from whence Adur hails, each of the eight noble houses is threatened by malign magicks that could bring down all of them. And in Summerstrand, the three Great Ports are threatened by pirates and disease. Adur is a Truth Finder; Finn is a Face Changer; Warnne is a Mind Bender; and Gared is a Portal Opener. And Hal? He is just a shepherd boy who finds himself with a signet ring of the Order of Knights Defensor - a secret society dedicated to combating malignant magic. Each is on his own personal quest. Together they are seeking the mastermind behind all the plots and conspiracies they discover.

The Terenne Chronicles 2: Bagehote and Quantak
In Terenne, the five fiefdoms and the Empire itself is coming under attack from malign magic masterminded by a mysterious mage called Puissant, who wears an opal pendant of red and blue. Sir Adur Marganard and his four freebooting companions are Adepts who use their special skills to combat and defeat him wherever his conspiracies arise. In Bagehote, each of the fifteen benefices have been infected with a deadly sin that must be expunged. And fire-eaters from the Great Forest have attacked the fiefdom. Whilst in Quantak, Queen Rosalind faces the threat of revolution as different parties vie to take control. Meanwhile Hal the Questor, the newly recruited freebooter, learns more about the Order of Knights Defensor and encounters the beautiful apothecary Frances Devere.
Mostly written, this second volume is planned for publication in 2027. The image is a mock-up of the front cover design.
The Terenne Chronicles 3: Esker and The Pinnacle
This third book will be set in the fifth fiefdom of Esker and in the Empire's capital The Pinnacle. After further adventures, the Adepts will face Puissant and Hal will find out who his parents were. Or will they?
Written only in synopsis form at the moment. Planned for publication in 2028.
